EURO‑PARK MIELEC SEZ and the Sectoral Skills Centre in Mielec are preparing a series of video materials
Joint project to develop human resources for the aviation industry
The Director of EURO‑PARK MIELEC SEZ, Wiktor Cichoń, has announced the launch of a new project implemented jointly with the Sectoral Skills Centre in Mielec, which specialises in training and upskilling staff for the aviation sector. The initiative focuses on promoting skills and future professions in the aviation industry and on showing the importance of modern vocational education for economic development and the national supply chain. The project complements efforts to strengthen the potential of Polish industry and to build long-term economic resilience, particularly in the field of modern aviation.
Video series in a real work environment
The planned project includes the production of a series of video materials created directly in the work environment – in aviation sector companies operating in the region. The recordings will present specific professions and qualifications related to the aviation industry, as well as the experiences of people working in different roles – from technical tasks to areas related to production organisation and the implementation of innovative solutions. The materials will also showcase the technological facilities of the companies and their development on the domestic and international markets, which is important for the position of Poland’s aviation industry in international projects.
Cooperation with regional companies
As part of the project, a series of recordings is planned in cooperation with companies located around the EURO‑PARK MIELEC SEZ, which together form a strong aviation industry hub in south‑eastern Poland. Involving regional companies will make it possible to present a realistic picture of work in modern industry – from the perspective of both employers and specialists responsible for key production processes and the implementation of new technologies. This type of cooperation helps to align the education system more closely with labour market needs and to strengthen the skills base for strategic investments in the aviation sector.
The importance of the project for skills development
The project of EURO‑PARK MIELEC SEZ and the Sectoral Skills Centre in Mielec complements activities aimed at modern, practice‑oriented education developed in close cooperation with the aviation industry. Presenting real workplaces, production processes and competency requirements is intended to support young people, vocational school pupils, students and adults in making informed career choices in the aviation sector. The initiative is also part of building a local skills ecosystem that strengthens the region’s industrial potential and increases the investment attractiveness of the zone.

Detailed information on the timetable for the video series, the participation of companies and the forms of cooperation will be provided in subsequent announcements by EURO‑PARK MIELEC SEZ and the Sectoral Skills Centre in Mielec. The project will be developed in stages, taking into account labour market needs and the aviation sector’s development plans in the region.
