Introduction – new support decisions in Lublin

Yesterday in Lublin we officially presented two support decisions under the Polish Investment Zone programme, confirming the growing importance of the Lublin subzone of SSE EURO‑PARK MIELEC as a location that favours the development of modern and diverse investment projects.

ARKADY investment – an automated car park in the centre of Lublin

The first decision was presented to ARKADY sp. z o.o. The company’s CEO, Ms Dorota Łukasik, received the document concerning an investment project worth nearly PLN 55 million. The project involves the construction of a multi‑storey, fully automated underground car park with a service and retail section in the centre of Lublin. The investment will significantly improve the functionality of the area, responding to the city’s growing transport needs.

The significance of ARKADY’s investment for the Polish Investment Zone programme

During the meeting, SSE EURO‑PARK MIELEC Director Wiktor Cichoń stressed that this is likely the first investment of this kind in Poland to receive support from the Zone, pointing at the same time to a shift in how the programme is perceived: the Zones are increasingly supporting not only manufacturing, but also logistics, modern services, research centres and data centres, which represent the future of the Polish economy and of the Polish Investment Zone programme.

A new decision for Aliplast – a key investor in the Lublin subzone

The second support decision was granted to Aliplast Sp. z o.o. in connection with a new investment worth PLN 64,062,500 to be implemented in the Lublin subzone. The event was attended by the Mayor of Lublin, Krzysztof Żuk, who underlined Aliplast’s key role in the subzone’s development, recalling that the company was one of the first investors in the zone and has so far invested around EUR 100 million in Lublin, while also being the largest employer in the subzone.

Plans for Aliplast’s further growth

Aliplast CEO Jan Kidaj announced the company’s continued dynamic growth, outlining plans for another investment in 2027–2028, even larger than the current one. He also thanked the Industrial Development Agency JSC for the efficient cooperation and issuance of the decision.

Aliplast’s new investment includes, among other things, the construction of a production and storage hall with a green roof and the implementation of a modern coating line, strengthening the industrial potential of the region and aligning with the principles of sustainable development.
