SSE EURO‑PARK MIELEC partners the 3rd Mielec Land Duathlon

Physical activity, integration and zone support

On Sunday, 26 April, the 3rd Mielec Land Duathlon will take place in Mielec – an event combining running and cycling, with the start and finish located in the car park at the Kirchhoff Automotive plant. The race is aimed both at ambitious athletes and at people who want to test themselves in sporting competition for the first time, in a friendly local atmosphere. The duathlon has become one of Mielec’s flagship sporting events, promoting an active lifestyle and encouraging residents to get involved in initiatives that build social ties.

The EURO‑PARK MIELEC Special Economic Zone, managed by the Industrial Development Agency JSC (ARP S.A.), is participating in the event as a Partner and is actively supporting its organisation. The zone’s involvement includes funding goodies for participants, which will be included in starter packs, and providing a special prize in the form of a voucher for a stay at Hotel Zamkowy. The voucher covers, among other things, two nights’ accommodation with buffet breakfasts, a dinner prepared by the Head Chef and access to the wellness area, and the winner will be drawn from among all participants who complete the race.

The duathlon as a space for building local ties

The 3rd Mielec Land Duathlon is not only a sporting competition on a dedicated run‑and‑ride course, but also an opportunity for residents to meet, for local communities to come together and for physical activity to be promoted across different age groups. The event is part of broader efforts to enhance quality of life in the region, where – alongside economic growth and investment – health, recreation and leisure opportunities also play an important role.
