SSE EURO-PARK MIELEC present at one of the world’s most important aviation events.

The most important investment decisions, breakthrough technologies and the future of global aviation come together every two years in Farnborough, United Kingdom. This year’s edition of the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 once again brought together leaders from the aerospace, defense and space sectors from around the world. Representatives of SSE EURO-PARK MIELEC were also among the participants, actively promoting the region’s investment potential and the offer of the Polish Investment Zone.

For three days, representatives of the Zone, together with the City of Rzeszów, held numerous business meetings, presenting opportunities for developing activities in our region and the benefits of investing in the areas of SSE EURO-PARK MIELEC. The fair was an excellent opportunity for talks with investors and representatives of organizations supporting the development of modern industry.

The Farnborough International Airshow is one of the places in the world where, at the same time, the largest manufacturers of aircraft, aero engines, defense systems and advanced technologies meet. Exhibitors included global corporations such as Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, RTX, Rolls-Royce, Bombardier and Embraer. There were also hundreds of companies making up the global supply chain for the aviation sector, including components and materials manufacturers, engineering and logistics firms, and providers of advanced technological solutions.

During the event, representatives of SSE EURO-PARK MIELEC also visited national stands, including those of Portugal, Italy and Belgium, and met with many companies related to the aerospace sector. These included companies already operating in the Zone, such as MTU Aero Engines Polska, one of the largest investors in the aviation industry in the Podkarpackie region, as well as enterprises interested in developing cooperation and investing in the region.

There were also talks with representatives of companies and institutions supporting the development of innovation and industry, including Thoni Alutec, MacBraida and the Podkarpackie Innovation Center. Together with representatives of the Podkarpackie Regional Government, meetings were also held with investors from Italy interested in economic cooperation opportunities in the region.

The presence of SSE EURO-PARK MIELEC at the Farnborough International Airshow is a natural consequence of the strong position of the aviation sector within the investment structure of the Zone. The aviation industry has long been one of the most important economic specializations of the Podkarpackie region. To date, 28 investment projects related to the aviation industry have been completed or are underway, with a total value of over PLN 3.6 billion.

Participation in the event allowed not only the promotion of SSE EURO-PARK MIELEC’s investment potential, but also the building of new business relationships and the strengthening of cooperation with representatives of the global aviation industry.
