Participation in an international event
On 26–27 April 2026, SSE EURO‑PARK MIELEC, as a branch of the Industrial Development Agency JSC (ARP S.A.), took an active part in the international conference Road to URC – Security and Defence Dimension, held at the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Rzeszów University of Technology. The event brought together representatives of business, public administration and academia, with a focus on security and industrial development.
Discussion panel – industrial development and its social impact
An important part of the programme was the panel entitled “Social aspects of defence industry development for cities and regions”, with the participation of Wiktor Cichoń, Director of the ARP S.A. branch in Mielec. The discussion focused on the impact of the defence industry on regional development and on the importance of cooperation between business, local government and the scientific community.
Presentation of the investment offer
Together with the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone EURO‑PARK WISŁOSAN, an investment offer was presented during a business breakfast opened by ARP S.A. Vice‑President Łukasz Kotapski. The participants were introduced to the forms of support available to entrepreneurs and to the investment potential of both zones.
Talks with entrepreneurs and presence in the EXPO zone
Throughout the conference, representatives of SSE EURO‑PARK MIELEC held talks with companies from Poland, Ukraine and other European countries in the EXPO zone. The event brought together more than 130 companies and a broad group of stakeholders, including government representatives, diplomats and business leaders.
Local content as a development pathway
One of the key themes of the event was the growing importance of the local content concept. Building supply chains based on domestic companies and technologies strengthens economic resilience and enhances the competitiveness of Polish industry.
The potential of SSE EURO‑PARK MIELEC
For SSE EURO‑PARK MIELEC, local content is a practical, day‑to‑day approach. Hundreds of companies operate in the zone, ready to deliver projects of strategic importance. Local suppliers provide high quality, flexibility and a logistical advantage, which is a major asset for investors.
Cooperation and skills development
During the pre‑URC accompanying events, the importance of cooperation with Polish industry and of developing domestic capabilities was highlighted, particularly in the context of major investment projects and the reconstruction of Ukraine.
As Director Wiktor Cichoń noted:
“Local content is not an administrative requirement, but an opportunity – to grow companies, transfer know‑how and build a lasting position for Polish industry in global supply chains”.
A strong position for the zone
SSE EURO‑PARK MIELEC consistently supports the development of modern industry and business cooperation. As local supply chains gain in importance, the potential of companies operating in the zone is becoming even more visible, strengthening their position on both domestic and international markets.
