The pre‑event for URC 2026 – the Ukraine Recovery Conference is now behind us. Held in Rzeszów, it brought together representatives of business, public institutions and organisations involved in Ukraine’s reconstruction. The meeting served as an important platform for discussing priority areas of support and the roles played in this process by businesses, financial institutions and public administration.

The culmination of these efforts will be the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026), to be held on 25–26 June 2026 in Gdańsk. Co‑hosted by Poland and Ukraine, the conference will be one of the most important international events dedicated to rebuilding a country devastated by war.

URC 2026 aims to strengthen international support and create conditions conducive to attracting investment into the Ukrainian economy. The event will focus on key sectors that have been hardest hit by Russian aggression, including:

  • energy,
  • critical infrastructure,
  • logistics.

Another important feature of this year’s edition will be a strong emphasis on security and defence. The new Security and Defence dimension, introduced at Poland’s initiative, will become an integral part of the conference, underlining that Ukraine’s stability and defence capabilities are fundamental to its long‑term development.

URC 2026 is not only a discussion forum, but above all a high‑impact investment facilitation platform that helps to forge partnerships and accelerate the conclusion of concrete business deals. The event will bring together representatives of governments, international and financial institutions, business leaders, local authorities and civil society organisations.

The conference programme will include, among other elements:

  • Recovery Forum – a space for dialogue and exchange of experience between stakeholders from Poland, Ukraine and the international community,
  • Business Fair – enabling the presentation of offers and the building of business relationships,
  • Infrastructure Platform – covering topics such as transport, energy, digitalisation and integration with the EU market,
  • Energy Platform – dedicated to transforming Ukraine’s energy sector and mobilising investment,
  • Think‑Tank Forum – supporting the development of recommendations and strategies for long‑term growth.
