Over PLN 1 billion of investments in the EURO-PARK MIELEC Special Economic Zone
The EURO-PARK MIELEC Special Economic Zone closed the first half of 2026 with more than PLN 1 billion of declared investment outlays. This amount covers 15 projects implemented by enterprises developing their operations in the region.
Results for the first half of 2026
The first half of 2026 brought very strong investment results for the EURO-PARK MIELEC Special Economic Zone. The total value of declared investment outlays amounted to exactly PLN 1,000,437,999.
This result was achieved on the basis of 15 decisions on support, covering projects implemented in various sectors of the economy. It means that after just six months of 2026 the value of declared investments has already exceeded the full‑year results recorded in 2023 and 2024.
Investment dynamics in recent years
Since 2018 entrepreneurs have declared investments with a total value of around PLN 9.5 billion in the area managed by the EURO-PARK MIELEC Special Economic Zone.
The dynamics of recent years confirm a steady increase in investor interest:
- 2023 – approx. PLN 680 million,
- 2024 – approx. PLN 800 million,
- 2025 – approx. PLN 1.3 billion,
- First half of 2026 – over PLN 1 billion.
As highlighted by the Director of the EURO-PARK MIELEC Special Economic Zone, Wiktor Cichoń:
“This result illustrates not only the scale of investments but, above all, the sustained interest in developing business activity in our region. It confirms the attractiveness of our area for entrepreneurs representing diverse industries and business profiles.”
Structure of investment projects
The symbolic crossing of the one‑billion‑zloty threshold is linked to a project implemented by Aero Gearbox International Poland from Ropczyce, which was the fifteenth investment included in this year’s list.
The remaining projects represent diversified industrial and service sectors, confirming the stable economic development of the region. The initiatives include investments in the aviation industry as well as service projects, including parking services. Some projects concern the production of components for weapons and ammunition and dual‑use products. Investors are both expanding existing plants and launching new ventures that increase the region’s production potential.
Position of the EURO-PARK MIELEC Special Economic Zone in Poland
The result achieved in the first half of 2026 places the EURO-PARK MIELEC Special Economic Zone among the most effective managers of the Poland Investment Zone (Polska Strefa Inwestycji). According to data from the Ministry of Development and Technology, the zone ranks 4th in Poland in terms of the value of declared investment outlays, confirming its strong position in attracting and servicing large‑scale projects.
