EURO-PARK MIELEC SEZ actively took part in the debate on Ukraine’s reconstruction and economic cooperation.

Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdańsk was one of the most important international events devoted to Ukraine’s reconstruction and the future of economic cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe. The conference brought together representatives of governments, financial institutions, international organisations and business from around the world.

The event clearly showed that Ukraine’s reconstruction will be one of the largest investment projects in Europe in the coming years – and that its implementation will require close cooperation between the public and private sectors.

Industrial Development Agency JSC (ARP S.A.), as part of the Team Poland initiative, actively participated in the conference, presenting a comprehensive support offer for companies interested in engaging in reconstruction projects.

The voice of EURO-PARK MIELEC SEZ in the international debate

An important part of the URC 2026 programme was a panel discussion devoted to the role of special economic zones in developing Polish-Ukrainian cooperation.

The panel featured Wiktor Cichoń, Director of EURO-PARK MIELEC SEZ, alongside representatives of key institutions supporting investment:

  • Łukasz Kotapski – Vice-President of ARP S.A.
  • Dariusz Szymczycha – First Vice-President of PUIG
  • Arkadiusz Tarnowski – PAIH
The panel was moderated by Karolina Niementowska, Director of the Promotion Department at ARP S.A.

During the discussion, the importance of special economic zones as a proven tool for supporting investment and international cooperation was emphasised.

It was noted that SEZs:

  • constitute a natural platform for Polish-Ukrainian cooperation,
  • offer ready-made infrastructure and investment facilities,
  • enable the rapid launch of projects,
  • provide attractive conditions for investors, including the highest level of tax exemptions in the European Union – reaching up to 70% of the value of investment expenditure.

The importance of EURO-PARK MIELEC SEZ for Ukraine’s reconstruction

During the panel, Director Wiktor Cichoń paid particular attention to the practical dimension of the zone’s involvement in the region’s economic processes.

He highlighted, among other things:

  • the strategic importance of south-eastern Poland’s location as a logistics base,
  • the readiness of EURO-PARK MIELEC SEZ to welcome new investments and develop industrial projects,
  • the growing role of international cooperation in building economic security and regional resilience.

EURO-PARK MIELEC SEZ, as one of the key zones managed by ARP S.A., has the resources, experience and infrastructure needed to actively support companies implementing investments related to Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Poland as the operational base for reconstruction

One of the most important conclusions from the conference is Poland’s growing role as an operational hub for Ukraine’s reconstruction.

This is supported by:

  • its geographical location and proximity to the Ukrainian market,
  • its developed transport and logistics infrastructure,
  • its strong industrial base,
  • the presence of specialised development institutions such as ARP S.A.

Special economic zones located in the eastern part of the country play a particularly important role here – including EURO-PARK MIELEC SEZ, which can serve as a base for production, logistics and technology projects.

From declarations to concrete projects

Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 was not only strategic in nature, but above all business-oriented.

The many panels and meetings were accompanied by:

  • bilateral talks with foreign partners,
  • presentations of investment offers,
  • relationship-building between companies and institutions.

This is a clear sign that Ukraine’s reconstruction process has already begun, and that its next stages will be based on real investment projects and international cooperation.

An opportunity for entrepreneurs

For companies operating in EURO-PARK MIELEC SEZ, participation in this process means concrete development opportunities:

  • access to new markets and investment projects,
  • the opportunity to cooperate with international partners,
  • participation in one of the largest reconstruction programmes in Europe,
  • the use of preferential business conditions.

EURO-PARK MIELEC SEZ – a partner for future business

The presence of EURO-PARK MIELEC SEZ at Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 confirms the zone’s active involvement in the region’s key economic processes and its readiness to support entrepreneurs facing new investment challenges.

Ukraine’s reconstruction is not only an infrastructure project – it is also a stimulus for the development of industry, logistics and modern technologies across Central and Eastern Europe.

EURO-PARK MIELEC SEZ is ready to be part of this process – as a partner for investors who want to develop their business in a rapidly changing economic environment.
